Keeping neutrals neutral

If you are a client signing off on a proof using the image on your left - your printing will be a disaster. Here'e why...

The image on the left has the soft shadows and neutral grays made up of yellow, magenta and cyan. The smaller images on the left show the
black plate pulled away to reveal this danger. For if the ratio of color changes in the slightest the neutrals will expose the stronger colors - this
is the most over looked error in all image preparations.

The image on the right has the soft shadows and neutrals all moved onto the black plate yet holding color where it counts - giving explosive,
vibrant color boost to your printed work that would of otherwise been impossible.

TIP: Along with your soft or hard proof, request a proof of just "k" or "black plate" - if those subtle greys are missing, then proceed no further,
and call upon detailing services of ImageBlast.

The first column shows the (rGb) channel which holds the red hues from the original RGB image. Column 2 is the magenta conversion from a
leading national prepress house with column 4 showing the final results. Then in column three is ImageBlast's information-rich magenta plate
with the results shown in the last column.
